The small tissue sample (biopsy) taken from your stomach showed inflammation of the stomach lining and a bacterium called Helicobacter pylori.
This result does not mean you have cancer. Over time, however, this bacterium can cause stomach ulcers and, in some people, more serious stomach conditions.
Medication is needed to clear the bacterium. Once the treatment is finished, it should be checked whether the bacterium has gone completely.
