Prof. Ali Tüzün İnce, MD
A graduate of Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine, specialist in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He currently holds a faculty position at the Department of Gastroenterology, Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine Hospital.
Prof. Ali Tüzün İnce was born in 1957. He read medicine at Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine, graduating first in his class in 1981.
He completed his specialist training in internal medicine at the Ministry of Health’s İstanbul PTT Hospital in 1986, and his subspecialty training in gastroenterology at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2003. He then served as a consultant in the same hospital’s gastroenterology clinic before continuing in academic medicine.
He currently holds a faculty position at the Department of Gastroenterology, Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine Hospital.

Between 1987 and 1990 he served as chief physician of the Kızıltepe Public Health Centre.
In the Turkish academic system a title and a post are separate things: the title is conferred nationally, while a post is an established position at one institution, usually opened some time after the title is held. Sources therefore give different years for what looks like the same thing.
He received the title of Associate Professor through the Council of Higher Education’s examination in 2008 and the title of Professor in 2015; he moved to the professorship post at Bezmialem Vakıf University in 2016.

Kadıköy Endoscopy Center
The center was established in Kadıköy, Istanbul to provide advanced endoscopic diagnosis and treatment. Alongside gastroscopy, colonoscopy and rectosigmoidoscopy, it built a substantial information archive for patients to consult before and after their procedures.
It served patients between 2002 and 2011. Kadıköy Endoscopy Center ended its activity and closed on 19 July 2011; patients are not seen at the center.
Prof. Ali Tüzün İnce, MD continues his clinical and academic work independently of Kadıköy Endoscopy Center, and still sees patients.
