This site uses no cookies. The only thing kept in your browser is the visit counter's tab marker.
This site sets no cookies
This site sends you no cookies at all — no session cookie, no preference cookie, no advertising cookie and no third-party cookie. There is no membership and no sign-in, so there is no record that recognises you.
There is no tracking tool either
The site carries no Google Analytics, no Hotjar, no Meta Pixel and no other analytics, advertising or session-recording tool. Your reading is not recorded by us: which page you read and for how long, where you came from and where you went are not known.
The only thing kept in your browser
The footer shows a total number of visits. Opening a page adds one to it, and so that the same tab does not count twice, a single marker is written to your browser’s session storage: you have been counted in this tab.
What is worth knowing about that marker:
- It is not technically a cookie and it is never sent to a server.
- It holds nothing about you; it only means “counted”.
- It is deleted by itself when you close the tab.
- The counter itself counts a total, not you — see the Privacy Notice.
Links that lead away from here
The texts contain source links: article DOIs, PubMed records, hospital and institutional sites. They open only if you click them, and from that moment the cookie policy of the site you went to applies. Those sites are not embedded here; opening a page sends them no request.
The appointment link
The appointment button on the contact page takes you to Bezmialem Vakıf University Hospital’s own appointment system. From there on it is the hospital’s site, under its own cookie policy.
Why there is no consent banner
Cookie consent is needed when cookies are set. This site sets none, so there is nothing to ask you about. You will not see an “accept cookies” box here, because there is no cookie to accept.
