In the picture you see the trichobezoar that met us during endoscopy in the stomach of a girl of fifteen with stomach complaints that would not settle.
Because of psychological problems this patient had been eating hair and the wool of her jumpers, beyond her control, since childhood; these had formed a mass the size of a large lemon in her stomach, and because it could not pass down out of the stomach it stayed there and caused continual trouble.
